By using Language Lands, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities.
1. Eligibility
Language Lands is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will terminate the account and delete associated data.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the service.
3. Subscriptions & Payments
All financial transactions and subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store. Payments are subject to Apple’s terms and conditions. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled through your Apple ID settings.
4. Intellectual Property
All content within the app, including text, icons, and course materials, is the property of Language Lands. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal learning. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to scrape, hack, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the service. Any attempt to exploit the app's content or backend infrastructure will result in immediate account termination.
6. Changes to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We are not liable for any modifications, price changes, or the removal of specific learning materials.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Language Lands is provided 'as is' without any warranties. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor do we guarantee specific fluency outcomes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Language Lands shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
